In 2009, there were more than 5.5 million reported vehicle accidents in the United States. Every year between 30,000 to 43,000 are fatal, over 2 million people are injured. Using a cell phone while driving increases your chances of getting into an accident by 400 percent, says the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
