VFY’s key goal is to use your donated funds to help our enrolled and awarded grantees. The recipients are awarded funds according to their social needs based upon hospital social worker evaluations and that of medical offices. Grant Funding is not based upon county welfare criteria or state or federal assistance.
There are plenty of patients and families who are working that are going to need extra financial support to cover the non-covered expenses such as medical deductibles, prescriptions, child care, and mammograms not covered by insurance.
